Yes! The free tier includes 1 team with up to 25 members, forever. You only pay for Pro if you need unlimited teams, SMS reminders, or automatic reminders.

Absolutely. You can cancel your Pro subscription anytime. Your teams will automatically downgrade to the free tier, and you'll keep access to all your data.
If you reach 26 members, you'll need to upgrade to Pro to continue using automated features. You can also stay on Free and manually remove inactive members.
GetDues doesn't charge transaction fees. If you use Stripe for online payments (Pro plan), Stripe charges their standard 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. If you track Venmo/Zelle payments (Free plan), there are no fees at all.
