Can I run the same fee across multiple teams?

A fee in GetDues lives on one team, so for a multi-team club you create the same fee on each team. Each team has its own roster, fees, and dashboard — and you can manage all of them from one manager account.

How do travel volleyball fees split between families?

Use per-player amounts when creating the fee. Family A: $250 (flight + half hotel), Family B: $185 (flight + roommate split), and so on. Each family sees their exact amount in the player portal. Or use split-even and GetDues divides one total across the players you select.

How do I handle optional clinics?

Create the clinic as its own fee and assign it only to the families who signed up. Players who didn't sign up never see the fee in their portal. There's no cart or opt-in checkbox — just targeted assignment.

What about gear orders with sizing?

Collect sizes outside GetDues (a quick form works well), then create the gear fee with per-player amounts so each family's portal shows the right total for what they ordered. Export the payment ledger to send to the vendor.

How do I handle a volleyball fee if a tournament is cancelled?

For Stripe-collected payments, issue refunds from your Stripe dashboard — GetDues picks up the refund event automatically. For manually-recorded payments, undo each one in the player's history and refund the family via the original channel (Venmo, Zelle, cash, check). Each payment is reversed individually; there is no bulk-refund button.
